FAQ

Questions we hear before the first visit.

Do you work on both automation systems and access control, or should I hire separately?

Both, on the same visit where possible. JNA was built specifically so facilities don't need one contractor for control panels and another for gate or door access — the same licensed crew handles the automation, the access system, and the electrical work behind them.

What areas do you serve?

We're based in Echo Park and serve Greater Los Angeles, including Koreatown, Silver Lake, Los Feliz, Palms, and Culver City. See the full service area on our Contact page, or ask when you request a quote — we can usually confirm coverage right away.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. JNA Electrical Solutions holds an active C10 electrical contractor license with the California CSLB, and carries general liability insurance. A certificate of insurance is available on request for property managers and general contractors.

How fast can you respond to a system that's down?

For an access control or automation system that's fully down, mark your request as emergency when you request a quote or call our line directly — we prioritize same-day response for facilities that can't operate without the system running.

Do you provide written quotes before starting work?

Always. We scope the job — by site visit for most installs and larger repairs, or by phone and photos for smaller diagnostic calls — and send a written quote before anything is scheduled.

Can you work around our facility's operating hours?

In most cases, yes. Panel and access system work is often scheduled after-hours or on weekends for facilities that can't have downtime during business hours — let us know your constraints when you request a quote.

Do you handle both new installs and repairs on existing systems?

Yes. A large share of our work is diagnosing and repairing existing access control and automation systems that other contractors couldn't fully resolve, alongside new installs and upgrades.

How do I get an exact price?

Pricing depends on scope, so we don't quote flat rates online. Submit a quote request with your job type, location, and urgency, and we'll follow up with next steps — usually a call or site visit before a written quote.
